These simple well-made connectors with a spring gate are made from A4 (316 grade) stainless steel. They can perform many functions onboard but they should not be used for heavy or critical loads.
Use them for:
- Small tool and accessory lanyards
- Securing small items such as keys and whistles
- Hanging up small items such as fruit hammocks and clothes lines
Do NOT use them for
- Lifting heavy weights
- Lifting of securing people
